What’s up | San May Café, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What a treat! I arrived in Ho Chi Minh early in the morning with a hungry tummy. The last time I visited the city was almost 5 years ago, back then I wasn’t a vegetarian yet. Since I have less than 10 hours before my domestic flight, I decided to have a brunch to the nearest ‘District 1’. While checking the map on Grab App ‘San May Cafe’ pop up right away next to a yoga studio that I want to visit. And so I booked the cab a went off. To my surprise this cafe is a vegetarian haven! Am I really lucky? Pure coincidence? Or my tummy is just hungry?

Cosy and home feels!

Beautiful home set up inside

The cafe is so homey and I love it – very South East Asian vibe! Since they offer a fusion of food, of course I want to start my Vietnam Day 1 with no other than Vietnamese Food.

Vietnamese Udon Noodles

Grass Jelly, Chia Seed Jelly, Longgan Gelly Cold Soup

I payed 110,000 Dong + (10% tax) for my food which is reasonable. They gave me a breakfast promo which is an awesome deal.

And FYI, I payed 78,000 Dong + (Airport ticket for 10,000 Dong) which is way cheaper than airport taxi that will cost you 200,000 Dong from the Terminal to District 1.

This Place will not disappoint you! Visit if you will be in Ho Chi Minh City!
