My Review: Whole Earth Restaurant

Singapore is so blessed to have amazing Vegetarian Restaurants!

Finally after almost a year, Mads and I explored new Vegetarian restaurants. After yoga practice, our hungry stomachs sent us to The Whole Earth.

It was new year and we are so hungry so we decided to have our super late lunch near Duxton and Tanjong Pagar MRT where we practice yoga.

The Food is super delicious, we had Peranakan dishes that I’ve never tried before.

5 Spice Ngor Hiang Roll – Whole Earth’s version of Heritage Peranakan Roll served with traditional sweet sauce

Enchanted Forest – Succulent Monkey head mushroom and fresh broccoli in perfect harmony with a specially blended sauce of angelica root ‘dang gul’ and wolf berries

Nutty Buah Keluak – A traditional Peranakan fare which requires an unbelievable 3 day preparation period. Highly nutritious, it is usually known for its nutty and exotic flavour.

Because one bowl of white rice isn’t enough for me, I ordered one more extra! Well, it’s good to be bellyful on New Year’s Day!

The food is not cheap but it’s delicious. I will put this restaurant as my 2nd or 3rd Best Vegetarian Restaruant. Why 2nd or 3rd? Because I can’t go there to eat everyday or else my wallet will end up crying; unlike New Fut Kai (Chinese Restaurant) and Annalakshmi (Indian Restaruant)

The place is easy to find and very cozy too. The service was great!

Mads and his happy tummy! 😂

But definitely I will recommend this place. I might visit this place during special events. I can still remember the Yummy taste of the mushrooms, vegetables, gravy and sauce!

PS: we paid 90 SGD for 3 meals plus 3 bowl of white rice and 2 drinks. 🤗
